Amongst the gods in the Chinese pantheon, the God of Wealth is his various manifestations occupies a special place in the hearts of people. His images and portraits are found in every home and business establishment. He is venerated and worshipped by Chinese everywhere. To his devotees, he is the “Wealth-Augmenting, Fortune-Increasing God of Money”, and the ‘Valuable-Getting God of Wealth”: he is the god that will hear and answer their wishes and prayers.
