The island of Pulau Daat lies off the big island of Borneo. It is very tiny and I do not think you will be able to find it on the map.
It was on Pulau Daat that the writer collected the little stories in this book. He wrote them down for the enjoyment of his small daughter living in Australia, and they are now published in the hope that other children may find them interesting.
